this morning #1732.
this morning, if not for the help of my lovely lady, i never would’ve made it to work today. would’ve at least been way late. we went out for drinks last night. been trying not to drink too much on mondays but sometimes it’s out of my control. in this case, her younger sister’s staying with her for the whole week. got into town on sunday. insisted on meeting me ASAP. who am i to say no to that? it’s what you do when you’ve been with someone for a good amount of time. you start meeting family members. hopefully not all at once. optimally, you don’t get too drunk but her sister wanted to party hard. i get it. i was like that in my twenties too. now i just like to drink without the party part. it’s far too tiring.
