this morning #1698.
this morning, as much as work was trying to stand in the way, my mind was already turned toward the weekend. a mix of excitement & anxiety. super bowl sunday. plans with the woman who, three weeks ago, nicked my parked car. for us, this is date #3. a proper party at one of her friends’ homes. the first time in four years where i won’t be getting wasted whilst watching the game from the bar. it’ll be quite the change. it’s typically a big drinking day for me. an excuse to let loose. i should try to keep that in check this year. meet her people. make a good impression. maybe i can play it by ear. it’s a party, after all. she might have some wild friends. hell, she might get wild around them. i guess if she behaves, i will too.
