this morning #1615.

this morning, for the first time in ages, my parents were engaged in civil conversation. it was great to see but it was going to take some time for me to adjust. while i wanted to join in my parents’ enthusiasm, i was too distracted. two items: the news that one of my friends had buried a gun for some reason & the fact that my other friend only knew because he’d betrayed our trust & dug it up. now i’m tasked with keeping two people’s secrets. sweet. just what i need. why’d he think that i was the one to tell? he seemed more focused on coming clean than with coming up with a solution to the situation. if he’s expecting me to know what to do, i’ve got some bad news. i’m staying neutral.

go back to the beginning.
