this morning, it was time to move on for everyone involved. move on. not move past. nobody’s saying that. everyone still alive has to move on with their lives & shift onto fresh paths. for the now-widowed wife, a few weeks ago her home burnt down. now the same can be said of her entire life. if the detective has the balls to keep looking into her deceased husband’s business dealings, her next chapter could be even darker. if he does, the press will likely cover it. it just won’t covered by the same journalist who’s been poking around the same grounds as he. after filling the neighbor in about the husband’s fate, she went straight to the office & quit. told her editor that she was tired of this. declared that the story was over.
