this morning #1748.

this morning, i had a breakthrough of sorts. after months of trying, i finally figured out how to make a proper crêpe. here’s the trick: it’s all in the way you wield your whisk. a simple twist of the wrist makes all the difference. light. airy. nary a bubble. not to be a brag but i’ve become quite the chef. added a few new dishes to my repertoire. today’s poem is in that vein. in life, through time, in calm & strife, we try to fix our situations for the better. we search for love & pray to god above for someone who fulfills us when together. baby steps toward happiness. maybe that’s the best approach. when we find someone we love, we’ll know to hold them close. we’ll want to share our growth in a way that benefits both folks.

go back to the beginning.
