this morning #1746.
this morning, the cat & i sat out on the back patio watching the sun rise. i sipping my coffee. she licking her fur clean. these serene morning hours before the world wakes up. love them. can’t wait to share a few with you. wait until you can see this view in the flesh! soon! it’s breathtaking. so…no idea where the spark for today’s poem came from but i like how it turned out. hope you do too. L is for your laughter. uninhibited & free. O is for the open way i give my love to thee. V is for the virtue in the way you walk the earth. E is for the elegance that is your very birth. Y is why i love you. O it’s oh so much. U are in my soul & i’m longing for your touch. i have to spell it out. deep under your spell. when i think of you, my heart begins to swell.
