this morning, after being out for only one day, i returned to work & it was as if half the office suddenly became concerned for my well being. word had spread that i was home yesterday because i’d got “food poisoning.” as a result, i was forced to retell the same lie over & over about what’d happened. bad green bean salad blah blah blah. yes. thanks. i’m feeling better today. no more green beans for me, i guess! yes. i did drink green tea like you suggested last time i felt sick. TOTALLY worked. thanks for the tip. oh wow. that’s a gross food poisoning story, bill. i swear. it’s like these people feed off others’ pain. at a time when we should’ve been gabbing about our christmas gifts, their spirits were lifted by my fake sickness.
