this morning #1576.
this morning, when i arrived at school, i stepped off of the bus & hurried straight into the building. in a foul mood. didn’t feel like talking to anyone. when i got to the first corner & turned, there she was. almost knocked her over. jenny. “EXCUSE me,” she snapped. i held my tongue. stepped back and, with a gallant wave, let her pass. part of me wanted to let her know that she’d showed up in my dream last night but the smart part of me kept that fact quiet. if i let on that she’s still in my head, there’s no telling how she’ll react. definitely not how i’d like. i'm sure of that. as she walked away, out of nowhere, my buddy slapped me on the back. asked what SHE wanted. gave me a perfect chance to act tough. “man, fuck that.”
